"It's not just water ice..." 
Annie's Water Ice is always willing to support the community.  

Sports Teams:

We sponsor all kinds of sports in the Doylestown Athletic Association (DAA), including softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and football. We also sponsor the Warrington Summer Classic (a 3.5 thousand-kid soccer tournament – the biggest in southeastern Pennsylvania).

Make a Wish Foundation Donation Day

Every year we devote one day to the Make a Wish Foundation, when we donate all profits from gelati sales to the charity. This year's Make a Wish day is Sunday, June 17, 2007.

Other Fundraisers

Besides Make a Wish, we support other causes and charities like Relay for Life (with the American Cancer Society), and Big Brother Big Sister programs. People also use our product to fundraise: we sell water ice at a discount to charities so they can sell by the cup for a greater benefit. We even provide water ice for a Fishing Derby.

Basset Day

The Annual Basset Hound Picnic is held every year in mid-October, when the parking lot fills with people and dogs. The picnic has a different theme every year that determines what costumes the dogs wear. Each year we mail brochures with an announcement of the theme to about 300 Basset-owners. There are awards for the dogs in 11 categories, and free water ice for caregivers/owners.

Past Basset Hound Picnics: 
2006 was a Hawaiian luau, with 135 basset hounds in attendance--“That’s a lot of drool!” Some years we’ve had up to 150. People come, bring their cameras and take pictures of the dogs in their costumes. One year's “Harvest Ho-down” theme had Annie's full of cowboys and little bo peep bassets.

Whose idea was it? David Grenwald, Ph.D., a world famous expert on “difficult people and the bassets who love them," who appears most years as the MC.

The day also benefits the Tri-State Basset Rescue that rescues basset hounds and puts the dogs up for adoption.

We donate and serve all the water ice to these seven 5k races, approximately 3,500 cups of water ice each year.
